Packaging & Delivery

All Matéflex products are packaged in cartons. Small projects may ship UPS or FedEx, but most come palletized and shrink-wrapped via LTL shipment. Once material leaves our warehouse, a tracking number is assigned and can be tracked via the carrier's website.

Customers must be on site to accept LTL deliveries and sign for the shipment. Not all shipping companies call to arrange delivery, so monitor the ETA closely. Contact the carrier's local terminal to coordinate delivery time. If the carrier attempts delivery and you're unavailable, re-delivery charges may apply.

Carefully inspect the shipment to ensure shrink wrap is intact and there's no visible damage. Verify carton/pallet quantities match the Bill of Lading. Any damaged or missing items must be identified and noted at delivery, otherwise claims will be denied.

Standard shipping rates are dock to dock, but special services can be quoted according to customer needs. Common additional fees include limited access, residential delivery, and lift gate service.

For lift gate delivery, the driver lowers pallets to the ground and you move them to your desired location. For pre-painted courts, boxes are numbered according to a provided layout drawing to make assembly simple.
